Yaniv Persy

One could clearly see the Parisian influences in this young designer’s creations. The mostly black and leather collection had classic lines with angular modern twists. This Fall 2012/13 line is very in tune with general S&M trend.

Shay Shalom

In a day dominated by black, white, and grey this was a standout! There was color – lots of it! The beautiful, precise tailoring helped reign in the loud fabric which might otherwise have seemed child-like, but the tailored, clean shapes gave the collection a feeling of sophistication instead.

Sugar Daddy

Punk & Goth influences were unmistakable on this runway. It was tailor made, from the hair and makeup, to the shoes (and everything in-between) for a young, hip punk-rocker with a sophisticated edge. The designers clearly stuck to their tag line of “Street Couture”, and we are ever grateful.

Sasson Kedem

Muted colors, unusual shapes, and a generous fit are the perfect words to describe this presentation. It seemed to us to be the collection most representative of the more “mature with an edge” style in Israel. The abundance of stripes signaled that this trend is here to stay… for at least another season.

His avant guard style rocked the runway – literally! The prints and rocker inspirations were there – but so was a softer side. The white dresses were light and billowy, they fit the female form perfectly without restricting it, and had just enough of punch to remain unequivocally – Yossef.

Roberto Cavalli

His Spring/Summer 2012 Collection was superb! Best described as bohemian rocker meets sophisticated socialite, it featured flowing dresses and tailored separates. True to his signature style, there was lots of sequins, prints, and feathers. His stunning white dresses embellished with sparkle and feathers really stole the show, and signaled another trend carried over from seasons past.
