Mark Goldberg, Shenkar graduate of 2011, won two prizes in the prestigious IT’S fashion awards held annually in Trieste, Italy. Mark was the proud recepient of The Vogue Talents Award for accessories and the Avery Dennison Brand Innovation Award. The awards focus on bringing recognition to young fashion school graduates, and have long been supported by the label DIESEL (whom always issue an award), and included awards from others such as Vogue Italy, Avery Dennison, and more.
Goldberg presented his “Woven Bird” design inspired by the work of artist Naum Gabo. This collection and the high level of work in his four years of study at Shenkar earned him an internship at Diane von Furstenberg’s Fashion House in New York.
Goldberg received a cash prize of 5,000 euros from the Avery Dennison award and from the Vogue Talent award, his entire collection will be photographed by Vogue.it and published on their website in addition to press coverage and interviews that will be on the Vogue Talents website. Go Mark!
