Daina Reed-Eiland (AKA “Dreed”)
Daina does all the styling and techy / webby stuff for Dreed*Tea and runs her own web design business while she is developing Dreed*Tea’s Online Marketing and Web Design training course. The looks she likes to create from her eclectic (yet practical) closet solve complicated questions, like what to wear in this highly neurotic Tel Aviv weather!? She loves to hunt Israeli designers (beware, her sense of smell is highly tuned), and in Tel Aviv, there are so many great discoveries all the time.
Michell Halpern (AKA “Tea”)
Michell does all the photography for Dreed*Tea. She’s an admitted shopaholic with a weakness for Vivianne Westwood, she can be found regularly exploring Tel Aviv designers with Daina. Sonya Golod
Sonya joined forces with us in Aug ’11 and became a partner in Oct ’11. She came in to handle our marketing and help us expand into the international scene – basically make us world famous! She brings the business savvy to our team with an MBA in strategic marketing, and she’s got the style sense to match, which shows through in her editorial contributions and styling assistance. You’ll be seeing this ginger headed beauty who loves nothing more than to be wrapped up in a DVF dress and ring candy.
Dreed & Tea’s Back Story
The duo (Daina and Michell) met several years back in India, and that’s where the shopping trips together began! They remained friends and Michell was instrumental in Daina’s brave move out to Israel from The States. After much talk about starting “some kind of business” together, the two started combining Michell’s photography talents and Daina’s web savvy to do some sort of fashion blog thing! It wasn’t long before they plotted to make this a legitimate business, call it a “fashion magazine” “International Fashion Project- Made in Tel Aviv”, and set out on a mission to put Israel fashion on the map. They quickly began making their way into styling and art directing fashion shoots. The two are thrilled to combine their talents to create a life they love and helping others do what they love most– expressing oneself through fashion!
